Nao Mieno graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts. She is currently studying with Prof. Bronisława Kawalla in the master’s program at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music. She has won numerous awards including second prize in the PTNA Piano Competition, Grand prize in the Sengawa Piano Audition, Gold prize in the Chopin International Piano Competition in ASIA among others. She got the 17th International Fryderyk Chopin Piano Competition’s diploma. She performed in many places around the world such as Japan, Taiwan, Spain, Austria and Poland. Especially in Japan, she performed in numerous recitals, including recitals organized by La Folle Journée Tokyo, the Nippon Foundation, Yamaha, Kawai and Steinway & Sons Japan. In Poland, she has appeared in the recital commemoration the 100th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Poland and Japan. She was also invited to the Chopin concert at the Sanniki Palase and Royal Łazienki in 2022. She has performed with renowned orchestras including the Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, the Tokyo Symphony Orchestra, the Karol Namyslowski Symphonic Orchestra, the Witold Lutosławski Chamber Philharmonic and the Nishinomiya Symphony Orchestra. She attended the 18th Hamamatsu International Piano Academy and the 1st Chopin International Master Class. She has received YAMAHA music scholarship. She studied with Hiroshi Arimori, Chiharu Sakai, Sumiko Ikeda, Syuji Tanaka.
