Leanne McGowan is currenly attending the Colburn Conservatory studying for her Bachelor of Music under the guidance of Robert Lipsett.
Prize winner of the Australian Music Foundation Nora Goodridge Developing Artist Award 2022 and the Dorcas McClean Travelling Scholarship for Violinists Competition 2022.
She attended masterclasses with Fabio Bidini, Kolja Blacher, Kristof Barati, Augustin Hadelich, Dimitri Murrath, Ray Chen and Miriam Fried among others.
She performed as a soloist with numerous orchestras such as the Melbourne Conservatorium's Camerata Orchestra, South Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, Preston Symphony Orchestra, Queensland Symphony Orchestra and Queensland Youth Symphony.
