Jason Moon studied at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music and at the Juilliard School. He is currently earning a master’s degree at the Colburn Conservatory, studying with Martin Beaver. He won first prize in the 2021 Ronald Sachs International Music Competition and the 2022 Colburn Conservatory Concerto Competition. He has performed as a soloist with the San Francisco Symphony and Peninsula Symphony Orchestras, among others. First prize winner at the Bellagrande International Music Competition 2021, Ronald Sachs International Music Competition 2021 and King’s Peak International Music Competition 2021.
He has been a semi-finalist in the Jascha Heifetz International Competition for Violinists and the Schadt String Competition.
Jason has attended music courses at the Taos School of Music, the Heifetz Institute, the Ashkenasi/Kirshbaum Chamber Music Seminar ad the Four Seasons Chamber Music Festival. He has given solo recitals at the Juilliard School, where he has also performed with his Piano Quartet.
