Yun-Hsuan Chiang is currently a high school junior at the Juilliard Pre-college in New York as a student of Professor Hung-Kuan Chen and Tema Blackstone. From the age of 14 she held several piano recitals at Taiwan National Arts Performance Centers. In 2022, she collaborated with the Taipei International Orchestra and passed the audition for the 84th Tokyo International Art Association Freshman Concert, receiving scholarship for masterclasses in Europe. In 2023, she was invited to perform with Long-Tan Philharmonic Orchestra at the National Concert Hall in Taipei, and to perform a piano recital in Tokyo. Her performance highlights in 2023 include playing Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3 with TIAA Orchestra in Tokyo. Recently she has become a Fellow of the Artemisia Foundation. Yun-Hsuan has received prizes in international and domestic competitions. Outside of piano, she enjoys composing, playing the bassoon and learning different languages.
