Jingzhi Zhang started playing the violin with her parents at the age of 4 and made her concerto debut with the National Symphony Orchestra of China three years later. She was awarded numerous prizes in China and in 2010 she was the winner of the Andrea Postacchini International Competition in Italy.
She participated in music festivals and gave recitals in Europe, Asia and America. She performed together with the National Symphony Orchestra of Beijing and Sichuan Symphony Orchestra of China, i Pomerriggi musicali of Milan, presidential Symphony Orchestra of Moscow and others. She played in front of the senior government officials and the Prime Minister of China.
Since 2013 she lives in Milan and studies with M.Pavel Berman at the Conservatory of Switzerland and at the Accademia Perosi.
She is overall winner of the Tenth International Competition of violin Balys Dvarionas 2016. She won the Italian Art Award in 2019 and was a finalist in the International Competition Vienna Classic Strings 2019. In 2021 she studied at the Art and Music University of Vienna in Chamber Music Class with Professor Sinaisky and at the Stauffer Center for Strings in class of M. Accardo and Quartetto di Cremona. She plays on the Carlo Testore violin from the Canale Foundation, Milan.
